Realme P3 Ultra Review MTK D8350 Ultra, 6000mAh, IP69

by SRKIAN

Realme’s P3 series & I’ll tell you what, we can’t say that all the phones that Realme has launched in the last 2-3 years are WOW! But with this series, I think something is changing. If I talk about performance in the P3 series, these are probably one of the top 2-3 phones in its price range when it comes to performance. In this video, I think Realme is coming back in a lot of things. This is the 1st step that Realme has taken. We’ll see how other phones launch in the future. Their number series is on a different focus. The camera design looks premium. This one is all about performance. Let’s start, I’m going to talk about both but we’ll focus more on the P3 Ultra.

The phone looks interesting with the performance. I’m going to show you the world’s first glow in the dark lunar design. But it’s a big box of the P3 Ultra. It’s normal. Let’s open it. I’m showing it to you but do subscribe. People forget so I’m telling you to subscribe & hit the bell icon. There are 3-4 things, Realme Buds Air 7. We asked on our social media that a lot of people still use Realme Buds. So that’s very interesting. These are more popular than Realme’s Keychain. I’m not sure, you tell me in the comments what Realme has given. And then this is a glass globe. Oh, it’s coming! Bro! Get out! Ok. You have to keep it here, the light will come from below. Put it here. And then you have a torch for glow in the dark. And then this. Why do they make it so tough to take it out? Brands,

if you’re sending it, send it in such a way that we can easily take it out. Oh no, my board fell. Alright, Sajid helped me a little in taking it out. My finger still has a problem. Let’s keep all this aside. Alright, so P3 Ultra & P3, let’s open. First of all, a sim card tool. Then you have documentation. Then you have these stickers. I’ve definitely made a video on why they give these. You have this clear case, it’s a TPU case. This is the phone! Oh! There’s an 80W charger. And USB Type A to Type C charging cable. Yeah, that’s about it. If I talk about the P3, you get a 45W charger in it. That’s the difference, the battery capacity is the same in both. Everything else is the same,

so let’s keep the phone aside. This is a 45W adapter. Let’s keep this aside. Let’s keep it aside for the show. Start it. Yes! It doesn’t look too bright. It doesn’t look too bright. Do you know why I was surprised? It has a 6000mAh battery & this is just 7.38mm thin. Look at how thin the phone is. This is kind of moon. If I show you, look at this. Can you see the moon here? Look at that, yes! You’ll see it now. Not bad, you can see the texture here. Can you see that? Definitely, I like this design. If I talk about the P3, it looks more industrial & mechanical. Look at that, this is decent. If I talk about the weight, it is with 6000mAh, still I’d say 188g. 185g! 185g! Exact to the dot! I’m so happy. I’m going to take out the screen guard. Satisfaction moment. Oh no, life! It was of 0.5g, so 183.5g.

No, it was of 1.5g. And if I talk about the P3, let’s take this out too. I think it’s a little heavy, it’s 190g. 193.6g! So the P3 is slightly more heavy, it’s a little thick too. But I like this power button, both have an orange power button & it’s accented. Let’s talk about the price. It’s price is effectively going to be below Rs 25K. With offers, it’ll come down to Rs 24-25K. And it’s price is going to be under Rs 20K. With offers, it’ll be around Rs 15-17K. So that’s what the P3 is. If I talk about the display, you get a bigger 6.83” AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. Whereas the P3 has a 6.67” FHD AMOLED display. And if you look at the bezels, they’re super duper slim. It’s a micro quad display, so it looks premium too. Again, it’s priced under Rs 25K. I don’t think it’s an expensive phone of Rs 30-35K, even from back & front. If I talk about the P3, I’d say it’s average sized bezels. It has a peak brightness of 2000 nits. You get a high brightness mode of 1200 nits, which is very nice. The display is fantastic, there’s no question.

We even tested it for a long time. The fluidity you get in it, you can feel that. It definitely looks very fluid & smooth. It has a Dimensity 8350 processor with an AnTuTu score of 1.4-1.45M. Which is excellent, there’s no question about it. You get a good processor in the P3 as well. It’s a 6th Gen 4 processor with an AnTuTu score of 7.6L. You get an LPDDR4X RAM type & UFS 2.2 storage type. If I talk about the Ultra, you get an LPDDR5X RAM type & UFS 3.1 storage type. Both have a 6000mAh battery with 80W charging on Ultra & 45W on non-Ultra. Oh I forgot, it’s not the 8350, it’s the 8350 Ultra processor. So it’s the 1st phone on the 8350 Ultra. It’s also the 1st phone on the 6th Gen 4. So yeah, that’s it. There’s 1 thing that stood out to me. In Ultra, we played Genshin Impact for at least 30-45 mins continuously. We got 59.2-59.5FPS continuously. But temperatures never went above 40 degrees.

It was 36-37-38 degrees in the 30s. Both have a 6000mAh vapour cooling chamber. But it’s optimised very well. Thermals are within range. So you’ll definitely get a sustained performance. We played 60FPS on the BGMI P3 & it has 90FPS. But the BGMI has a 3.7 update, so you’ll be able to play at 120FPS after 3.7 update. So it’s excellent in gaming, there’s no question. Play BGMI or Genshin Impact, you’ll enjoy it. In fact, the 8350 Ultra also supports Ray Tracing. I mean under 25K Ray Tracing support. And for gaming, both have GT Boost mode. It also has motion control. If your budget is around 20-25K & you want a good gaming phone, then you should definitely check it out. It comes with Realme UI 6.0 which is based on Android 15. There are 2-year major updates, 3-year security updates. There are some pre-installed apps that you can uninstall. In fact, when you set up, you can uninstall the apps that you don’t want. There’s one thing that stands out which I mentioned earlier. You’ll feel the smoothness in the Ultra. There are AI features like circle to search. There’s AI smart loop where you don’t have to go through hoops to share anything. There are no separate steps, you can share from there. So there’s AI smart loop. There’s AI writer, in photo editing there’s AI eraser, AI best face.

You get all these things. And especially for students, there’s recording summary. If you’re sitting in a lecture, you want to record, you want to make a summary, it’s very easy. Oh, I forgot the drop test. So Sajid just reminded me, let’s do this. You get Gorilla Glass 7i protection on both of them. Let’s do this! 1, 2 & Oh! That was some sound. There’s no tension on the back, it’s not glass. Every time! 7i, did anything happen? No, absolutely nothing. I like this design though. Let’s move forward, let’s talk about other things. Connectivity, you get WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, 15 5G bands. So absolutely no problems. There’s VoNR, Air Blaster, there’s no NFC support. Sensors,

you get an in-display fingerprint sensor on both the phones. Face unlock works very well, no problems. Multimedia, this display, especially the Ultra’s display looks great. Stereo speakers, there’s no HDR on Netflix, but you can watch it on YouTube. There’s Widevine L1 support, so you should enjoy multimedia, no problems. Camera, the P3 Ultra has a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide. And you get a 16MP selfie sensor on both the phones. You don’t get ultrawide on this phone, it’s 50MP plus 2. Camera, you get decent photos from the primary sensor. But these phones are primarily performance centric phones. We’ve taken a lot of photos, I’m giving you the G-Drive link below, do check it out. If I talk about the video graphics, you can do 4K 60FPS on the rear, FHD 60FPS on the front. On the P3, you can do 4K but only 30FPS. If you take the primary sensor of the Ultra, then it comes with Sony’s IMX896 sensor. So the colours & details come out quite good. I’d say the Ultra White is on the softer side, but with the primary sensor,

you get good photos on the Ultra. Even the skin tones are very close to natural. They look a bit punchy on the display, but on the actual screen, they’re good. Both are IP69 certified, so you can do underwater photography. I didn’t test the sim card, I don’t think you’ll get an SD card slot, but let me check it out. You get a dual nano sim card slot. The base variant of the P3 Ultra is 8GB 128GB, 8GB 256GB & 12GB 256GB. The in hand feel of the P3 Ultra is amazing, it’s lightweight even with a 6000 mAh battery. The price you’re paying for it, you’re definitely getting great performance. I’d say the same about the P3 Ultra, you’re getting 6GN4 in Rs 17-18K, with an AnTuTu score of 7.6L. It’s good for gaming & performance is your main focus. It also has a 6000 mAh battery, so you can easily use it for 1-1.5 days. So performance, battery, looks & display are the highlights of the P3 Ultra & P3. Realme is making a U-turn,

they’ve launched good phones at decent prices, especially the P3 Ultra & P3. We’ve been unboxing for years, but we want to improve & your feedback is very important. Comment your thoughts on this video, so that we’ll come to know where we should improve & where we’re good. This video is done in collaboration with Realme, but the test results are exactly
